On New Years Eve 2011, I decided to take a trip with my friends to our college town in Athens, Ohio. We missed our school so much after being graduated for two years. Most of my friends were in relationships, so I ended up celebrating the evening with 3 of my friends and their boyfriends/fiances. Although that trip to Athens was a fun one, I knew at that moment, there was something missing from my life. I spent most of my time in college not having a boyfriend, so I always felt like the single girl out of my friends. After New Years that year, I decided to take the plunge and join eHarmony. I reluctantly spent countless hours filling out my online profile. After finally completing every step to ensure the best possible match, I began my journey of finding love. Just a few days later, I noticed one particular man in my first set of matches.
His name was "Daniel" and after looking over his profile, I noticed we had a lot in common. I decided to put myself out there and send him a set of questions to see if we were compatible. After talking on eHarmony for a few days, Danny finally asked for my number and we started texting day and night. After one week of texting, we decided to meet in person on Saturday January 14th.
Our first date was very nerve wracking at first. I still remember waiting for Danny in the front of the restaurant. He was running a few minutes late because there was a Cleveland snow storm that night. As soon as he walked in, my heart fluttered. During dinner, we both barely ate anything since we were nervous and also because we were talking so much. After dinner, Danny cleaned the snow from my car that accumulated during dinner. After that moment, I knew he was someone special.

The next two nights, despite other plans, we ended up seeing each other and we continued to talk on the phone every day. Just 9 weeks after that, Danny told me he loved me on St. Patrick's Day. Still to this day, it is one of my favorite memories of our relationship. Just 12 weeks after saying "I love you", Danny asked me to be his wife.

On March 16th, 2013, we said "I do" and made it official. It was 364 days after he first told me he loved me.
